Scioto Trails Advancing Abilities operates 8 ICF homes in Pike and Ross counties. Our homes are absolutely beautiful. Each individual has a private bedroom and bathroom. There is a large spacious living room, a large dining/kitchen area and a large outdoor patio that all residents enjoy. We pride ourselves in maintaining our homes to the highest standard! They are truly the best ICF homes in the state.
Advancing Abilities is very proud of our clinical services. Within our ICF Homes, we offer 24 hour nursing supports. The nursing department is comprised of Tonja Helmick, RN, Director of Nursing and several LPN professional nurses. Delegated Nursing is utilized in all of our homes. We have 24 hour on site nursing at our Pike county ICF homes due to the higher medical needs of the people living there. The nursing department provides daily on site and off hour on call oversight at our Ross county ICF homes. The goal of the nursing staff, in collaboration with Medical Director Catherine Farinet, M.D., and Dr. John Johnson, M.D. – Psychiatry, is to ensure optimal health maintenance of all individuals. This is accomplished through routine quarterly assessments, yearly physicals, and following medical recommendations related to all aspects of healthcare.
Please come to tour our homes. If you have a loved one that is looking for a healthy, clean and safe environment, you will love what you see.
